Imperial Cities

Marrakech, Fes, Meknes and Rabat, the four cities where Morocco’s dynasties built their capitals.

The four cities

MarrakechThe red city: the Jemaa el-Fna square, the souks and the palaces and gardens.
FesHome of Fes el-Bali, one of the largest car-free medinas in the world.
MeknesImperial gates and stables, with the Roman ruins of Volubilis nearby.
RabatThe capital: the Kasbah of the Udayas and the Hassan Tower.

Casablanca, with the Hassan II Mosque, is where many of our tours begin or end.
